Inspect
Check for tears, rips, exposed scrim or other material defects.
Clean
Clean all flashings and seams to a smooth, contaminant-free surface.
Prime & seal
Prime seams and openings as needed and seal open voids with RMI Flex. Voids over 1/8" are filled with sealant.
Encapsulate
Apply RMI Flex to encapsulate seams and laps at an average thickness of 48 mil.
Topcoat
In clean, straight lines, apply RMI silver topcoat over and extending past the repair area.

We can restore your existing roof with RoofMart International’s (RMI) fluid-applied single-ply system: no hot tar, no shingles and no tear-off.
On a recent metal restoration, we applied RMI Flex (gold) basecoat to every seam, screw and protrusion, then covered the entire roof with RMI Thane (silver) topcoat. At a food processing plant, we installed an RMI 20-year system right over the existing EPDM roof.
